Youth Hip Hop 1st Place

Youth Hip Hop had the 2nd highest dance score in LIVE! dance history.

Junior Hip Hop 1st Place

The Junior Hip Hop team had the highest dance score in the history of LIVE!, they won a FULL PAID BID to the US Nationals, and they were the Dance Champions of the competition,  and team member  Emily Slagle was selected by the judges to receive the  Star Performance award out of all the dance teams

 INDIANA ULTIMATE K-CLUB

Toning Class and Butts and Guts Class

(Holiday's are coming...come burn some calories while toning!)

Where: Indiana Ultimate 3016 W.Wilden Ave, Goshen

Dates: Monday's Nov 24th thru December 15th

Next session starts January 5th thru 26th

Time: Toning Class 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm

Butts and Guts Class 7:00 pm to 7:30 pm

Cost: One class $25.00, Both classes $40.00

Bring: Ankle weights, 3-51b dumbbells, towel and water bottle

(you may rent weights, add $5.00 to fee)

KYLE HAS OPENINGS!!  CALL NOW TO GET A SPOT!

Kyle Shafer (our tumbling guru on our Level 5 Ultimate team) is now offering private tumbling lessons.  He will be available on Sunday after 4:00pm. (other days may be offered if demand is high, and his schedule allows) Kyle is willing to work with any skill level.  He prefers to limit his privates to mini-youth age kids.  The cost will be $20 per 30 minute session.  Privates may be shared with one other person. (each pay $10).  If you sign up with Kyle, he asks that you make a minimum of a 4-week commitment. (payments may be made per lesson or per 4 week session) 

We are not trying to take privates away from Jeff, Bernie & Rick, or replace team tumbling.  Kyle’s privates will primarily focus on kids wanting to achieve or improve a specific skill.  Whether it’s a standing tuck, punch-front, backhandspring or jumps to a tuck, or anything else, Kyle will work on helping your child achieve their specific goal(s).

4th HIGHEST score of all dance teams of the day

ALL our IU Cheer & Dance teams had a great 1st competition performance. The scores were very close & many teams missed moving up 2-3 spots by only hundredth's of a point. All the coaches were very pleased with their team's performances.

Thanks to all the parents that made the trip. Your support was outstanding. It is fun for the kids to hear you yelling the words to the cheer, and clapping to the music. Thanks also to the parents who helped with gifts & treats for the teams the week prior to the competition. The kids (and coaches) certainly appreciate it. The hype & enthusiasm going into a competition was so great. Let's keep it up!!

2008 Michiana Buddy Walk

On September 20th 2008 our Ultimate Wings team had the Privilege to participate in the Michiana Buddy Walk 08.  Sally (Wings Coach) told us they had a blast performing in front of everyone and we heard some rumors that the Wings team was dancing with Notre Dame Baseball players.  We would like to thank The Down Syndrome Family Support and Advocacy Group for having us and hope to do this next year.  In the summer of 2007 Indiana Ultimate began offering I.U. Wings, a cheerleading program with the goal of enriching the lives of special needs individuals of any age. The Wings philosopy is to create a safe, fun and positive learning environment. The program focuses on teamwork, encouragement, integrity, and building self confidence. Our mission is to teach individuals to be exceptional cheerleaders, but most of all, to be exceptional people! During our first season the Wings athlete went from being afraid to roll over to performing running tumbling skills. The squad practiced weekly and performed to standing ovations at the Elkhart County Fair, and at cheerleading competitions in Indiana and Ohio, bringing home 1st Place trophies and medals.
